PARAMARIBO — The Ministry of Social Affairs and Housing has announced that the payment of the KKV funds (purchasing power reinforcement) has now been processed by the Central Bank of Suriname (CBvS). Further administrative processing is currently taking place at the Surinamese Postal Savings Bank (SPSB).
Once this processing has been completed, the relevant amounts will be credited to the clients’ accounts within the foreseeable future. The ministry understands that the delay may have caused inconvenience to those involved and sincerely apologizes for this. At the same time, the department expresses its appreciation for the understanding, patience and trust that clients have shown during this period.
Clients are requested to check their accounts in the coming days. If after a reasonable period of time there are still uncertainties about the credit, they can contact the designated authorities for further information.
