Muscat: The Royal Oman Police has issued a statement on a shooting incident in Salalah after it followed reports circulating on social media. The incident took place in the evening on Wednesday, 17 June 2026.
The police clarified that the shooting was the result of a dispute between two Omani citizens due to previous disagreements, which led to both of them being injured.
Both individuals are reported to be in a stable condition and receiving the necessary medical treatment, and legal procedures are being followed.
