The Ministry of Education and Higher Education, represented by the Bunyan Student Center, announced the opening of registration to participate in the “Bunyan Bridges” program, which includes a student trip to Bosnia and Herzegovina during the period from 8 to 14 July 2026, as part of its programs aimed at empowering young people, building their personalities, and enhancing the values of identity and belonging.
The center explained that the trip targets Qatari male and female university students, between the ages of 18 and 30, and provides a qualitative summer experience that combines moral empowerment, cultural exchange, leadership skills development, and character building in an educational environment rich in knowledge and inspiring experiences.
He pointed out that the program aims to consolidate national identity and values through cultural exchange with Bosnian youth, develop emotional intelligence, build positive human relations, enhance independence and assume responsibility, in addition to expanding the horizons of critical thinking by learning about different experiences and societies, refining leadership and teamwork skills through field activities, and engaging in diverse youth experiences in nature.
The trip program includes cultural and historical visits to a number of the most prominent cities and landmarks in Bosnia and Herzegovina, including Sarajevo, Mostar, Travnik, and Srebrenica, in addition to participating in leadership workshops and development programs, attending an international youth conference, and implementing youth activities and adventures, in addition to meetings for cultural and knowledge exchange with Bosnian students.
The Ministry invited students wishing to participate to register via the designated link, stressing that the program comes within the framework of its efforts to prepare a conscious and empowered generation, possessing leadership skills and national values, and capable of representing the State of Qatar and promoting cultural communication with various peoples.
