“Is the Pride Parade actually a demonstration or an event?” The new Instagram channel “My Constitution” started on Saturday with a daily question, which was used to explain the nature and scope of freedom of assembly to the addressees – interested young people.
The example represents the objective of the format: videos with the hosts Verena Tranker and Mona Saidi, written texts and conversations with experts like Constitutional Court-President Christoph Grabenwarter convey the meaning of the constitution in everyday life. The channel is operated by the non-profit “Foundation Forum Constitution”, whose aim is to convey the topics of the constitution and constitutional jurisdiction in a low-threshold manner.

You learn: The Pride Parade is a demonstration, i.e. a protected gathering. The question/invitation to the audience “Are you going there? – Answer in the comments” has aged quickly and has (until now) received little response in the still young medium.
