The candidate for deputy from the ranks of the Democratic League of Kosovo, Janina Ymeri, has announced that she has submitted a lawsuit for defamation against the minister in charge of Foreign Affairs, in Glauk Konjufca.
Ymeri said that Konjufca slandered him on a TV show, so he asked for a public apology. If he does not do it, Ymeri said that he will be asked for compensation and the money will be sent to the “Down Syndrome Kosovo” association.
Konjufca had accused Ymer of being involved in a business for buying and selling electricity.
“The defendant, Glauk Konjufca, is requested to publicly apologize for the slander made on the Debat Plus show. Otherwise, compensation is requested and depending on the evaluation of the judgment, the income from the compensation will be sent to the association ‘Down Syndrome Kosovo’. For less than 1 year, I have been in 3 legal battles against the government or government actors”, said Ymeri.
Ymeri further stated that he has been in three legal battles against this government for less than a year.
“So 1 person versus 1 entire state apparatus with 3 legal battles. All of this on the same topic: the ‘Sin’ of Electricity”, wrote Ymeri.
