Details: Trump also said that the Iranians “no longer want nuclear weapons and will not have them, not by purchase, not by development, not by any other means.”
Direct speech: “At the appropriate time, when things calm down, we will go in and retrieve the nuclear dust buried deep beneath the mighty submerged granite mountains, thanks to our beautiful B-2 bombers and their brilliant pilots, and destroy it, whether in Iran or in the United States.
We look forward to working with Iran and the entire Middle East in the far future. We hope this process will be quick, easy and seamless. If not, we have a last resort that we hope you’ll never have to use again!”
What preceded: June 13 Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that the US and Iran could within 24 hours sign the agreement on the continuation of the ceasefire and the opening of the Strait of Hormuz.
