On the night of June 13, pilots of the Forces of Unmanned Systems hit the Crimean Titan chemical plant. The company’s products were used for the production of gunpowder for the Russian army, stated SBS commander Robert Brovdi with the call sign “Magyar”.
The plant is located in the city of Armyansk on the territory of the temporarily occupied Crimea.
“The largest giant plant in Eastern Europe in the Armeniansk region, which currently belongs to “Russian Titan” (squeezed out, like everything else, during the occupation of Crimea), produces titanium dioxide.” – said the SBS commander.
The products of the “Crimean Titan” plant are used by Russians for protective and stealth coatings for equipment. The enterprise also produces sulfuric acid, which is the basic substance for gunpowder, rocket fuel and explosives.
The plant was struck by the pilots of the 1st Separate Center of the SBS.
“Objective control has confirmed damage. The fire is raging. Production has been suspended,” – wrote “Magyar”.
Earlier, “Oboronka” told that indomestic “Flamingo” missiles on the night of June 10 hit to the Russian military plant located in Cheboksary. The factory manufactures components for drones and missiles of the Russian army.
