Within the framework of enhancing cooperation and coordination with national, economic and service institutions, the Director-General of the Hashemite Authority for Military Injured Persons conducted a series of official visits in Aqaba Governorate, which included a number of leading governmental and economic agencies and institutions in the governorate.
The Director General of the Authority began his meetings with a visit to the Vice President of the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority. He also met with the CEO of the Aqaba Development Company. During the meetings, ways of joint cooperation and partnership prospects were discussed in a way that contributes to supporting injured military personnel and enhancing the programs and services that the Authority provides to them.
The Director General of the Authority also visited Prince Hashem bin Abdullah II Military Hospital, and met with the hospital director, where he was briefed on the progress of work in the Authority’s liaison office inside the hospital, and listened to an explanation about the services provided to wounded military personnel and the mechanisms for developing them in order to achieve the best levels of care and follow-up.
The visits also included the Aqaba Ports Management and Operations Company, the Arab Fertilizers and Chemicals Industries Company (KEMAPCO), in addition to the Danish company APM Terminals, which operates the Aqaba Container Port. During the meetings, opportunities for cooperation and exchange of experiences were reviewed, and the possibility of supporting programs and initiatives implemented by the Authority to serve and empower wounded military personnel was discussed.
The Director General of the Hashemite Authority for Military Injured Persons stressed the importance of these meetings in building effective strategic partnerships with various national institutions, which contributes to developing the services provided to military wounded, and enhancing their integration and economic and social empowerment, in line with the Authority’s mission and its national and humanitarian goals.
