Shaheed El Hafed, June 10, 2026 (SPS) – The President of the Republic, Secretary-General of the Polisario Front, Brahim Ghali, received on Wednesday the Director General of the Algerian National Archives at the Presidency of the Republic, Mohamed Bouanama, along with the delegation accompanying him.
During the meeting, the Director General of the Algerian National Archives and his delegation presented an overview of cooperation in the fields of archiving, documentation, digitization, and technical collaboration. They highlighted the work accomplished so far with the aim of developing and strengthening the Sahrawi National Archives.
The discussions also addressed future initiatives and measures that should be undertaken to support archival institutions within the Sahrawi state.
On the occasion, Mr. Bouanama honored President Brahim Ghali by presenting him with a symbolic gift.
For his part, President Brahim Ghali offered symbolic gifts to the Algerian delegation.
