Dr. Muhammad bin Mubarak Juma, Minister of Education, made an inspection visit to a number of centers for conducting placement tests in the English language (APTIS(This is to ensure the progress of the last evaluation stage of the evaluation stages of competition for Middle Years Program seats)MYP(leading to the International Baccalaureate Diploma in public schools, implemented by the Ministry of Education in partnership with the British Council)British!Council).
During the visit, the Minister met with a number of students and their parents, in addition to members of the educational and administrative work teams responsible for organizing the assessment test.
559 male and female students were able to qualify for the final stage of the evaluation process, which included more than 3,000 male and female students from all preparatory schools in the Kingdom of Bahrain. After monitoring the results of the evaluation process, the top 400 male and female students who qualified for the English language level test will be selected (APTIS) thus forming the first batch of students from the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme.
