French center Jerry Butciel will wear the Buducnost Volija jersey in the next season as well, the Podgorica basketball club announced.
It is stated that Buducnost is keeping a player who during the previous season showed quality, professionalism and commitment to the blue and white colors.
“To our mutual satisfaction, the joint story continues,” the announcement reads.
Butciel arrived in Podgorica last summer and very quickly became an important part of the team.
“With his energy, solidity in the racket and rich European experience, he brought additional stability under the hoops on both sides of the court. During the season, he stood out as one of the key players in the racket, providing a contribution in the jump, protecting the hoop and defensive tasks that are often not included in the statistics, but have great importance for the team,” the Podgorica club announced.
Fletcher Maggi and coach Andrej Žakelj extended the contract with the Buducnosti team yesterday.
