Tomorrow, the coach of the national football team, Vladimir Petkovic, will sign his new contract linking him to the Desert Warriors.
According to the information we obtained, the contract extends until the year 2028, and includes several clauses, the most important of which is the necessity of achieving better results during the next African Cup of Nations, which means reaching at least the semi-finals.
A clause was also added that allows the federation to renew the Bosnian technician’s contract again even if the stated goal is not achieved, if non-sporting factors make it impossible to achieve, such as refereeing errors, similar to what happened in the last African Cup of Nations.
Financially, Petkovic’s wages will rise by 25,000 euros, reaching 160,000 euros per month, from 135,000 euros.
