
The Algerian national football team maintained its 28th place in the world in the FIFA classification, for the month of June.
The International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) published on its official website on Friday morning the new rankings for the teams.
Compared to the last ranking in April, the Algerian national team maintained its 28th position, and advanced in number of points from 1564.26 to 1571.03, an increase of 6.78 points.
The national team ranked second in the Arab world after the Moroccan national team, which rose to seventh place globally.
The “Greens” are in fourth place in Africa, after Morocco, Senegal, which is ranked 15th in the world, and the Nigerian national team, which is ranked 26th in the world.

The Argentine national team rose to the top of the world rankings, after France was defeated by Côte d’Ivoire by two goals to one, in the friendly match that took place on Thursday evening.
The Roosters moved to third place globally, while the Spanish national team maintained second place.
The Moroccan team benefited from Algeria’s victory over the Netherlands, rising to seventh place, while the Windmills team lost one place, ranking eighth in the world.
According to the FIFA website, the new classification update will take place after six days, that is, on June 11, given that the teams are holding friendly matches during this period.
