Celebrating one year since its entry into the Algerian market
The Italian shipping company GNV Grandi Navi Veloci, in partnership with its general agent in Algeria, AFLT MARITIME, launched an additional exceptional discount of 10 percent on cruises, in addition to the current promotional discount of 30 percent on reservations.
A statement by the Italian shipping carrier on Thursday, a copy of which was received by Al-Shorouk, stated that this offer applies to confirmed reservations until June 7, 2026, and on flights scheduled until September 15, 2026, within the limits of available seats.
The statement called on travelers wishing to benefit from this offer to complete their reservations through approved agencies or through the usual reservation channels before the specified date.
As is known, the Italian marine transport company for passengers, GNV, has been operating flights from the port of Sète in southern France towards Bejaia and the capital since the beginning of June 2025.
The statement added that on the occasion of the first anniversary of its presence in the Algerian market, this special initiative came within the framework of rewarding travelers’ loyalty and attracting more customers on its sea routes between Algeria and Europe.
The statement pointed out that this step also reflects GNV’s commitment to developing its services in the Algerian market and accompanying the increasing demand for maritime transport by providing trips that combine comfort and quality of service.
According to the Italian shipping carrier’s statement, these offers reaffirm GNV’s connection to the Algerian market and its keenness to accompany its customers in the long term. They also fall within the joint commitment between GNV and its partner FLT Maritim, which aims to enhance economic, commercial and tourism exchanges between Algeria and Europe.
Positioning and development in the Algerian market
In a statement, the CEO of FLT Maritim, Hamid Batata, confirmed that the first year of GNV’s activity in Algeria represents an essential stage in consolidating its presence within this strategic market, noting that since the start of its operations, the company has been able to secure approximately 100 flights between Algeria and France, which reflects the development of demand and travelers’ confidence in its services.
He added, “This first phase was characterized by a gradual development in services and continuous adaptation of offers in line with the needs of the Algerian market, while continuing to improve the quality of the travel experience on cruise lines.”
Batata explained that these results reflect the company’s strong standing in the Algerian market and the relevance of our long-term vision, stressing that it will continue to invest in enhancing the quality of its services, developing its sea lines, and supporting movement between Algeria and Europe, which contributes to stimulating economic and tourism exchanges between the two shores of the Mediterranean, for the benefit of the Algerian community and tourism activity.
