The Christian artist Lilly Goodman reacted after his colleague’s statements Juan Carlos Rodríguezvocalist and founder of the group Tercer Cielo.
In a release posted on his Instagram account, goodman reflected on Christianity in the face of the controversy generated by the accusations of Rodriguezwho stated that the singer did not give him credits in interviews as a composer of his greatest hits.
“my priority number one at this moment is to take care of the testimony of the Gospel of Jesus Christ“, he indicated goodman in your message.
“The gospel is not summed up in songson a stage, in recorded albums, in fame achieved, in the four walls of a temple, nor sermons on a Sunday. The gospel is the power of God in action.”he added.
“Me, God chose to fulfill the assignment of helping people to connect with its presence, to spread its aroma wherever I step and wherever my voice is heard; to use my entire life so that others can be healed, restored and delivered”, he asserted.
“God did not choose me or raise me in such an extraordinary way for me to use his platform that He lent to tarnish his gospel with gossipnot even to defend myself from Satan’s darts with carnal strategies,” he stated.
Last week, Rodríguez took to social media to express his displeasure with Goodman, to whom the shepherd Marcos Yaroide would have discovered and convinced him to record it.
Rodríguez said that after watching complete interviews he realized that goodman does not give credits or thanks for the hits he composed for her, in addition to the fact that publicly his colleague and partner of the christian music refers to him and Yaroide only as “a couple of friends”omitting part of its history, although on digital platforms he does appear as one of its writers.
