    Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), participated in the “Choose France” conference, which was opened by His Excellency Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, at the Palace of Versailles, in the French capital, Paris.

    He also attended the dinner party held by His Excellency the French President for the conference participants, where he conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the country, to His Excellency President Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, while the French President informed Sheikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa of conveying his greetings to His Majesty the King of the country, and His Excellency’s wishes for the Kingdom of Bahrain for continued progress and prosperity.

    On this occasion, the Minister of Finance and National Economy, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company “Mumtalakat”, stressed the depth of the established bilateral relations and the growing strategic partnership that brings together the Kingdom of Bahrain and the friendly Republic of France in various fields, especially in the economic and investment fields, noting that the Kingdom of Bahrain’s participation in the “Choose France” conference confirms the Kingdom’s commitment to continuing to strengthen international economic and investment partnerships, and to benefit from promising opportunities that contribute to supporting development paths and achieving the desired development goals.

    He pointed out that this participation comes as an extension of the outcomes of the official visits exchanged between the two friendly countries, which contributed to strengthening aspects of the partnership and creating more promising opportunities between the two countries, stressing the Kingdom of Bahrain’s keenness to continue consolidating cooperation with the French Republic and taking it towards broader horizons, in a way that achieves common aspirations and interests.
