A two-week Summer programme aimed at strengthening regional friendships, promoting youth development and fostering positive relationships between young people from St. Vincent and the Grenadines (SVG) and St Lucia has been hailed a success by Station Sergeant of Police and Executive Member of the Crime Prevention Unit, Stephen Billy.
The Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force’s (RSVGPF) Regional Police Youth Club Summer Programme, held in partnership with the Rising Stars Police Youth Club of St Lucia, brought together a total of 105 participants, of which 77 were campers, for two weeks of educational, cultural and recreational activities at the Bequia Anglican Primary School. The programme officially opened on Monday, July 20, 2026, with a ceremony at the camp venue.
Prime Minister Godwin Friday, senior officers of the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force (RSVGPF), and camp coordinators addressed participants at the opening, encouraging them to embrace the opportunity to learn, develop lasting friendships and take part in activities designed to build character and leadership skills.
