The elected deputy of the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), Janina Ymeri, said that she received lewd messages and comments, according to her, only because she was interested in the American gas project.
For this, she accused the Vetëvendosje Movement, as she said, “their message, clearly from the VV camp, is: they are working against the Republic”.
“Since last night, people with identity and without identity have been writing comments, mails, messages non-stop against me because I am interested in the American gas project. Their message, clearly from the VV camp, is: I am working against the Republic. These messages are false, even dangerous for my work in the interest of the possibility. If you thought that the first and last sentence came from Kurti and the minister without understanding what is being offered by the international side, you have the wrong impression,” he wrote. Ymeri in a Facebook post.
She said that this issue needs discussion in the Assembly and international investigations.
“With lynching comments, you only show the fear you have. This work is for the Assembly to understand what is being offered and to confront the prime minister and the minister about what exactly is their plan and not the fairy tales of 2050. Yes, it should not be left at that, international investigations are also needed when our justice system is auditing the relief, because the influence of the energy mafia, China and Russia must be evaluated as it affects the economy and politics of Kosovo and the Balkans”, he wrote Ymer.
On Thursday evening, on the show “Konfront” on KTV, she stated that due to the great public interest in the American gas project, she contacted the American Embassy and was told that they are facing a rejection approach from the Government.
Ymeri stated in the show that the current Government cannot say no to America but will postpone it as a project.
Meanwhile, she wrote on Facebook that questions about the project are not a war.
“In other words, doing business with Vuk Hamovic, taking money from GEN Serbia, manipulating prices with ElektroPrivreda of Serbia is the work of the Government, isn’t it? As for me, as long as you have taken 1 billion from us for energy, you have lost our schools, hospitals, our lives. Questions about a project do not mean war, but the opposite, the question is asked why the Government is not raising the debate, who is the Government of Kosovo fighting against? protects the energy mafia?!”, Ymeri wrote.
