The secretariat of the commission wrote in a press release that on the 17th of March, 86 families of Afghan refugees returned to their country through Torkham in Nangarhar province, 26 families through Spin Boldak in Kandahar province, 56 families through Silk Bridge in Nimroz province, and 14 families through Islam Kala in Herat province.
According to the information of the newspaper, 78 families in Torkham, 27 families in Spin Boldak, 6 families in Nimroz, 14 families in Herat and 35 families in Kabul were also helped.
In the press release of the High Commission for Refugee Problems, it was also revealed that on that date, a total of 937 refugees and 1062 passengers have returned to their country via Nimroz.
The returned families have been given useful information about their registration, transportation, financial assistance, short-term settlement and understanding of the country, Islamic system, immigration, patience and tolerance, education and training by the information and public awareness committee of this commission, and a total of 113 SIM cards have been distributed to them.
