According to the Ministry of Mines and Petroleum’s press release, both parties discussed the survey and exploration of Afghanistan’s mineral resources and other related topics.
The representatives of the Russian company, Muhammad Saber Latifi and Dimitri, also shared their information and suggestions regarding the survey and exploration of mines in Afghanistan, and the officials of the relevant institutions discussed with the officials of the said company on various aspects of the mentioned topics, investment opportunities and practical matters through online communication.
The Minister of Mines and Petroleum has said that Afghanistan is a rich country in terms of mineral resources and through accurate survey and exploration of these resources, the ground can be laid for the country’s economic growth.
He stressed that survey and exploration should be done in the light of professional standards, accurate geological data and applicable laws.
At the end of the meeting, the coordination between the relevant agencies and the continuation of cooperation in the survey and exploration of Afghanistan’s mineral resources has been emphasized.
