During this visit, the Minister of Culture and Arts said that the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan is taking necessary measures to prevent the destruction, smuggling and usurpation of the country’s historical sites and reservoirs and considers the protection of the country’s historical and cultural heritage to be its most important duty.
Also, the professional delegation gave the necessary instructions for the effective implementation of the project, so that the repair works of the mentioned reservoirs are carried out in accordance with the technical standards and the accepted principles of the repair of historical reservoirs and the historical originality and values are well preserved.
It should not be forgotten that the basic repair works of the mentioned historical reservoirs have been started from the budget of the Ministry of Information and Culture at the cost of 14.8 million Afghanis.
