    World Rally 2026: these are the stages confirmed by the event organizers – Rally


    The date in Paraguay of World Rally will be disputed August 27 to 30 in Itapúa. It will have 22 special tests, adding 356.04 km of competitive course and the participation of approximately 60 crews. This shows growth compared to the 2025 edition, which brought together 19 tests, 335 km and 48 crews.

    The competition will take place over four days. It will start with the shakedown (San Juan del Paraná–Carmen del Paraná) and the symbolic start; It will continue with stages that will cross areas such as Cambyretá, Nueva Alborada, Yerbateras (Nueva Alborada) and the Autódromo (Capitán Miranda); will advance towards sectors such as Bella Vista, Hohenau, Trinidad and Encarnación; and will culminate with the closure in Encarnación and General Artigas.

    The emblematic closure will take place on the Costanera República del Paraguay, in the sector of Silo and the San José Millnext to the emblematic Encarnacena beach, on the banks of the Paraná River.

    The organizers of the event estimate that this year the success of the previous edition will be surpassed. They predict that it will generate more than 200 million dollars in economic movement and the influx of 400,000 spectators.

    Competition sections

    The initial day of competition, on Friday August 28will once again have as its first section Cambyretá (SS1/5), starting from Campichuelo heading towards New Dawnon a 24.58 km route, bordering the Paraná River.

    It will continue along the Nueva Alborada section (SS2/6), from Puerto Samu’u to Puerto Ita Cajón, with a distance of 15 km. The journey will continue between Nueva Alborada and Trinityknown as Yerbateras (SS3/7), for 33.26 km. The day will close with the Autodromo in Captain Miranda (SS4/8), 2.5 km circuit.

    He Saturday 29the tour will start in Beautiful View (SS9/13), for a stretch of 21.15 km. Another section in the same district, called Bella Vista Sur (SS10/14), will be 11.54 km.

    Hohenau It will have a section that will reach Trinidad (SS11/15), 19.33 km. The second day will close with a section between Trinidad and Capitán Miranda (SS12/16), 15 km, and an urban section on the Costanera de Incarnation (SS17), 3.10 km.

    Final day

    He Sunday August 30 the Encarnación section will be inaugurated between the neighborhood Quiteria and San Antonio Ypecuru (SS18/22), 10.26 km away.

    The competition will close with the sections in General Artigas: the first (SS19/21), 19.60 km, and the second (SS20), 8.44 km.

    He Fanzone will be available again in the sector of “Mario and Betty Pérez” Municipal Civic Center of Encarnación, while the awards evening will take place next to San José Beach.

    It is expected that the symbolic start will take place again from inside the sambodrome.

    Migration data reflected that 51,062 foreign visitors They arrived in Paraguay only for the rally. From the Itapúa Hoteliers Association (Ashoit), they reported that the places were completely full during the competition weekend.

    Regarding security, the coverage mobilized 5,000 police officers and 1,200 military personnelalso unprecedented numbers for an event.

    The calendar of World Rally places our country as the 11th headquarters. The last disputed date took place in Japan at the end of May, while Greece will host the event at the end of June. The rallies remain Estonia and Finlandprior to the big event that is expected to arrive in Paraguay, before moving on to Chile.
