Wilaya of Auserd, April 28, 2026 (SPS) – Wilaya of Auserd is hosting the 19th edition of the International Film Festival in Western Sahara (FiSahara), which will run until May 3.
The event is being held in parallel with the Regional Festival of Culture and Folk Arts and will feature screenings of films produced by Sahrawi and international filmmakers.
The opening ceremony on Tuesday evening will include a welcome speech by the wilaya governor, member of the National Secretariat, Khira Bulahi, and the Minister of Culture, Moussa Salma.
This cinematic event, organized by the Ministry of Culture, will include film screenings, training workshops, and seminars on cinema and human rights, in addition to art exhibitions.
In this context, the organizing committee held an introductory meeting for the participating delegations.
