Gordana Dozet announced the decision that the entire board of the Party of Freedom and Justice in Bačka Topola, headed by her, is leaving this party, due to “deep disagreement with the decision of the SSP Presidency to participate in the upcoming elections in a coalition with pro-European parties”.
“Our firm position is that this kind of political direction is wrong at the moment. We believe that the only correct way is to unconditionally support the student list, regardless of when the mentioned elections will be held”. she stated in the announcement.
Gordana Dozet stated that in the future she will act as an independent councilor in the Bačka Topola Municipality Assembly and that she will remain a member of the councilor group of the pre-election coalition “Bačka Topola Day After Tomorrow”.
The name of the coalition “Backa Topola the Day After Tomorrow” was created on the eve of the 2024 local elections. when in this municipality, out of about 25,000 inhabitants, three lists went to the elections.
One is about the Union of Vojvodina Hungarians, the other is about the Serbian Progressive Party, which came out under the slogan “Bačka Topola Sutra”.
The third, the opposition list “Bačka Topola prekostura”, consisted of the People’s Movement of Serbia, the Democratic Party, the Party of Freedom and Justice, the Green-Left Front, the Democratic Community of Vojvodina Hungarians and the informal group of citizens “Za Martina”.
According to election results as of June 2, 2024, the list around SVM won 19 mandates, around SNS 13, and the opposition three.
U To the Bačka Topola Municipality Assembly previously there was no opposition for four years, because they boycotted the local elections in 2020.
Around the list of Bačka Topolo the day before tomorrow were activists from the One of Five Million protest, as well as those who campaigned for the opposition in the presidential and parliamentary elections in 2022 and the parliamentary elections in 2023.
According to the officially available biography Gordana K. Dozet is a doctor of biotechnical sciences, professor and research associate.
She was born in 1970 in Bosilegrad, she completed primary school in Batina, Croatia, and secondary agricultural school in Beli Manastir, (Croatia), she began her studies at the Faculty of Agriculture in Osijek, and then continued in Novi Sad. She received her doctorate in 2010 at the Faculty of Biofarming in Bačka Topola, Megatrend University Belgrade.
She worked as an agricultural production technologist, then as a teacher at the Higher Agricultural School in Bačka Topola, then as a teaching associate at the Faculty of Biofarming, and then as an associate professor.
He has numerous works, participation in projects, scientific conferences and events, as well as membership in several professional organizations and associations.
It is stated that in his works, among other things, he connects research in the field of agrotechnics, biological nitrogen fixation and organic agricultural production.
She wrote the textbook “General Organic Gardening” and is the co-author of two monographs “Management in Organic Plant Production” and “Soybean Seeding”.
It is served in English. She is married and the mother of two sons. It cooperates with a large number of scientific research and educational institutions in the country and abroad.
