What the poet wanted to say
Yesterday in the middle of the day, the National Press Agency reported that the Resnica party has announced that they have not yet received an offer for a partnership for development, as announced and promised by Prime Minister Janez Janša, but that they want a partnership “that would push us even further into the opposition”, party chairman Zoran Stevanović, otherwise known as the president of the DZ, said in a statement in the DZ.
We have to say that Stevanović’s statement honestly confused us. We thought that the partnership for development would push the Resnica party “even further into position”.
Because if Stevanović votes as a position, acts as a position and is rewarded with an office for that, then he is part of the position. We really don’t understand where he got the idea that he is the opposition and that he would like to be pushed even more into it. Even looking at SSKJ, as Stevanović advises, did not help us at all in understanding the concepts.
Or more precisely: now we no longer understand at all what the poet wanted to say with the mentioned term “opposition” – even if we read SSKJ as “creatively” as Stevanović did in the case of the notorious “roads”.
