The Apsara National Authority (ANA) has warned the public, including national and international tourists, drivers of all types of vehicles, and tour operators, to exercise increased caution when traveling to or visiting temples in Angkor Park.
On April 13, the ANA announced that Cambodia may be affected by Typhoon Sinlaku from April 14 to 25, including Siem Reap province.
As a result, Angkor Park could experience adverse weather conditions such as heavy rain, thunder, lightning, and strong winds, which may lead to soil erosion or falling tree branches in certain areas.
During this period, authorities advise against parking vehicles or stopping under trees to reduce the risk of injury, property damage, or loss of life.
