In Venezuela, which was hit by a series of devastating earthquakes, a mother gave birth under the rubble of a collapsed building, reports Telegraph.
As of this afternoon, 589 people have been killed, around 3,000 injured, and thousands more are being sought after two strong earthquakes hit the country on Wednesday evening.
Footage also appeared showing the woman lying on a board on the ground, surrounded by people in the dark. Another woman helps her give birth and gives birth to a crying baby. The woman who did the blowing then knelt down and wrapped the newborn, while others gathered to cover the mother with blankets.

The president of Venezuela, Delsey Rodríguez, said today that La Guaira was the hardest hit by the 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes.
“We will rescue the people who are trapped. We are working tirelessly on this task,” Rodriguez said.
Dozens of vehicles carrying rescuers and humanitarian aid are heading to La Guaira as the international rescue mission gains momentum, Venezuela’s transport ministry said.
Caracas International Airport remains closed to commercial flights. The port of La Guaira will serve as a logistics center for the reception, storage and distribution of humanitarian aid, while all other ports continue to operate normally, authorities said.
