The president of the United States, donald trumpwas pointed out by a former Swiss model who accuses him of having sexually assaulted her in 1993, according to a report presented by Democratic legislators from the House Judiciary Committee, which examines the president’s ties to Jeffrey Epstein.
The woman, identified as Beatrice Keulassured that the alleged attack occurred at the Plaza Hotel in New York, when she was 24 years old and participating in a beauty pageant. According to her testimony, she met Trump during a lunch organized as part of the pageant, when he allegedly offered to help her obtain a US visa and access New York University.
Keul said that after that conversation, Epstein approached her and introduced himself as Trump’s best friend. Later, she was invited to a hotel suite, where, according to her version, the alleged sexual assault occurred.
In her statement, the former model described the attack as violent and claimed she suffered bruising and bleeding, as well as damage to her dress. He also indicated that, after the incident, Trump again offered him help to settle in the United States and study at university.
After finishing his participation in the contest, Keul returned to Switzerland and declined an invitation to attend another event organized by Trump in Hawaii. The woman had already publicly presented these accusations in October 2024.
The White House categorically denied the allegations and questioned the publication of the report by the Democrats. According to the US administration, the document seeks to divert public attention and Trump was exonerated from matters related to Epstein.
The report also mentions previous accusations made by four other women against the US president.
The publication occurs in the run-up to the mid-term elections in the United States and once again puts under scrutiny the relationship between Trump and Epstein, the deceased financier who was accused of sexually exploiting minors and maintaining ties with numerous public figures.
The accusations contained in the document correspond to Keul’s testimony and do not constitute, by themselves, a judicial determination of guilt.
