The Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force has announced that Tristan Richards of New Road Housing has been sentenced to a term of imprisonment for firearm and ammunition offences.
The conviction relates to an incident on November 30, 2024, at Gillard Meadows, St. Kitts, where Richards was found in possession of an illegal firearm and ammunition.
The matter was concluded on April 10, 2026, in the St. Christopher Circuit Court before His Lordship Justice Patrick Thompson Jr., who imposed a sentence of five and a half years’ imprisonment for the firearm offence and twelve months for the ammunition charge.
The sentences are to run concurrently, with time already spent on remand to be credited toward the overall term.
