A man and a woman lost their lives Friday night in a traffic accident registered in the municipality of Marcovia, department of Choluteca, southern Honduras.
The fatalities were preliminarily identified as Kevin Ávila and Reyna Garcíawho died due to serious injuries suffered in the road accident.
According to family members, García was an enterprising woman who dedicated herself to selling tamales.
The accident also left several people injured, who were helped by emergency services and taken to an emergency center to receive medical attention.
So far, authorities have not provided details about the circumstances under which the accident occurred or the health status of the injured.
Agents from the competent authorities went to the scene to carry out the corresponding investigations and determine the causes that caused this. unfortunate event.
