Three men were arrested and a 9mm pistol with ammunition seized during a police operation on Drax Hall main road in St Ann on Sunday, the police say.
Reports from the St Ann’s Bay police are that about 10:28 p.m., a team conducting operations in the area intercepted a Toyota Wish motor car.
The vehicle was searched, and a Beretta 9mm pistol, along with a magazine containing four 9mm rounds of ammunition, was reportedly found under the back seat.
The three men were taken into custody in connection with the seizure.
The police say their identities are being withheld pending further investigations.
