What promised to be a pleasant meeting to establish a new bond ended up turning into a bitter nightmare for a young man from Bogotá.

However, shortly after consuming a couple of drinks and getting up briefly to go to the bathroom, the citizen began to gradually lose consciousness and the notion of time.
Hours later, The victim woke up disoriented in a hospital of the city, without remembering anything of what happened.
“I remember having two cocktails and from then on I don’t remember anything else until the next day,” the affected person said to RCN News.

The true magnitude of the attack was discovered when he searched his belongings and bank accounts: according to the victim, the attacker had stripped him of his valuables and, taking advantage of his defenseless state, “He made multiple electronic transfers, massive purchases and cash advances at ATMs, totaling a theft that exceeds 20 million pesos.”
