The Petra Development and Tourism Region Authority confirmed that it did not grant any approvals or permits to hold a concert by the artist Majid Al-Muhandis in the ancient city of Petra on June 12, 2026.
The authority confirmed, in a statement today, Sunday, that it had not granted any approvals to hold the aforementioned ceremony within the Petra region, noting that the information circulated in this regard is incorrect.
The authority called on citizens and visitors not to buy or reserve any tickets related to the artist Majid Al-Muhandis’ concert or any other event announced to be held in the Petra area without referring to the approved official channels to verify their authenticity.
It called for obtaining information from its official sources and not dealing with any parties that promote or sell tickets for unapproved events, in order to avoid exposure to misleading operations or financial losses.
The Authority confirmed that it reserves its legal right to take the necessary measures against any party that advertises or promotes unlicensed events within the Petra Region.
