Agents from the National Police Department in the municipality of Neyba, commanded by Lieutenant Colonel Sandy Muñoz, detained Yefry Sena Ferrerasalias Checo, for the death of Marianny Michel Cuevas Román, 20 years oldthis Wednesday morning in the Los Cocos neighborhood of this municipality.
Sena Ferreras24 years old, was taken to the Gil Roldán hospital center in Villa Jaragua and, later, he was taken to the police station.
Subsequently, agents from the Central Investigation Directorate (Dicrim) detained a companion of the alleged killer and recovered the weapon with which they allegedly shot and the motorcycle on which they were traveling when the feminicide was committed.
The 20-year-old girl, resident in the Buenos Aires sector, was attacked with a hunting-made weapon known as a “Chilean”, causing her hypovolemic shock, according to medical examiner Mayoris Rivas, when examining the body accompanied by prosecutor Carmen de la Rosa.
The body was transferred to the National Institute of Forensic Sciences (Inacif), in Azua.
