Youssef Blaili
Vice President of Esperance Tunis, Shukri Al-Waer, revealed the latest developments in the file of Algerian international Youssef Belaili, with regard to the punishment imposed on him, and the issue of his renewal with the Red and Yellow Club.
Shukri Al-Waer said, during his appearance as a guest on “Al-Hiwar Sport”, on the private Al-Hiwar Al-Tunisia channel, that the Esperance administration is in constant contact with Blaili, and he explained in this context: “The administration did not cut off communications with Blaili, to renew his contract.”
The vice president of Esperance added: “Blailey called me and we communicated with his agent. The player wants to stay. Esperance also intends to extend the player’s experience, but everything will remain hostage to the decision of the International Sports Court, regarding the penalty imposed on him by suspending him for a full year.”
He added: “Blailey resorted to changing the legal committee supervising his file, and we provided him with the required documents that he will add to the file before the International Sports Court. We are still keen to continue Youssef Blailey’s career with the team, provided that his situation is settled from a legal standpoint.”
The Tunisian Esperance official confirmed that the club always stands by its players: “We stand with Belaili, and we make all our efforts to help him, whether he plays with us or leaves the team.”
