On June 23, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Chairman of the city of Dushanbe, President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan Rustam Emomali took part in the opening ceremony of the Technical Center of the Football Federation of Tajikistan in the Varzob district.
How the press service reports Head of State, the new complex was created to develop football in the country, train players, coaches, referees and other specialists, as well as to support children’s, youth and women’s football.

The center is located on an area of 62 thousand square meters. It includes the main administrative building, two training football fields – with natural and artificial turf, a stadium, a tennis court, sports fields, an indoor swimming pool, a sports arena and running tracks.
A hotel, restaurant, cafe, conference rooms and meeting rooms are also built on the territory of the complex. The building is equipped with a modern fitness room. Single, double and luxury rooms are available to accommodate athletes and guests.
The construction of the center was carried out with the financial and technical support of the International Football Federation (FIFA), the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) and domestic partners. After the facility was put into operation, 50 permanent jobs were created.
The press service noted that in recent years, the development of football infrastructure in Tajikistan has significantly intensified, new stadiums and football fields have been built, leagues for different age categories, football schools and academies have been created, the system of training specialists and the development of women’s football has been expanded. To promote sports initiatives, television channels “Varzish” and “Football” were created.
According to the authorities, the opening of the new Technical Center will be an important step in the further development of football and the country’s sports infrastructure.
