As current runner-up, Xelajú MC will seek revenge and the title that eluded them in 2025. Together with CSD Municipal, Antigua GFC and Deportivo Mixco, the Altense team already knows its complete schedule for the group stage, which will begin at the end of July.
The four Guatemalan representatives already have dates, times and rivals defined for the group stage of the 2026 Concacaf Central American Cup. Concacaf published the complete schedule for the first five weeks of the tournament, which will start at the end of July.
The fourth edition of the regional competition will bring together 20 clubs divided into four groups of five teams. Guatemala will have CSD Municipal (current national soccer champion), Antigua GFC, Deportivo Mixco and Xelajú MC, the latter as runner-up.
The groups

The quarterfinals will then be played (September 8-10 and 15-17), the semifinals and the play-in (20-22 and October 27-29), and the grand final on December 2 and 6, 2026.
The two best teams in each group will advance to the quarterfinals. At the end of the tournament, the four semifinalists and the two play-in winners will qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup, while the Central American champion will advance directly to the round of 16.
