Former deputy of the Democratic Party Rudina Hajdari spoke on Skype with “Opposition” about the current situation in which the Democratic Party finds itself.
Hajdari said that the race for president should be open to anyone, not only to people connected to DP, but also to figures who have public weight.
According to her, the goal is not only to win the hearts of the democrats, but a new image must be built to be embraced by the general public.
Rudina Hajdari: The race should be open to those outside the DP as well. For figures, for anyone who has a desire, who has a public stature. It is not the way to win the hearts of the democrats, the structures. It should be the opposite. It must be a high public figure and in this way this person will raise a new image for DP, which is embraced by the public. I think this is the right way. There must be an open race.
We have had the problem with referendums for a long time. Referendums have been a hot topic. I made a legal initiative when I was an MP. But it was not taken into account. I don’t think so, I understand the concern, I agree, but I think it’s one of the problems, but there are many problems that should have more attention these moments that speak.
