The Martyr Al-Hafiz, June 10, 2026 (SPS) Today, Wednesday, the President of the Republic, the Secretary-General of the Front, Mr. Ibrahim Ghali, the Director-General of the Algerian National Archives at the Presidency of the Republic, Mr. Mohamed Bounaama, and the delegation accompanying him received.
During the meeting, the Director General of the Algerian Archives and his accompanying delegation gave a presentation on the areas of cooperation in the field of archiving, documentation, digitization and cooperation in this field, highlighting the work that has been accomplished in this field in order to upgrade the Sahrawi National Archives.
It was also discussed what should be done in the future for the benefit of archival institutions in the Sahrawi country.
In turn, the Director of the Algerian Archives honored the President of the Republic and the Secretary-General of the Front, Mr. Ibrahim Ghali, by presenting him with a symbolic gift.
For his part, President Ibrahim Ghali presented some symbolic gifts to the Algerian delegation.
For reference, the meeting was attended by the Director of the Sahrawi National Archives, Al-Arabi Abicher, along with the Director of the National Archives of the Algerian Presidency, the Secretary-General of the state of Tindouf, in addition to specialists in archiving and documentation who supervised a training course for those in charge of the Sahrawi Archives.
