MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) – A delegation of the Aviation Division of Belarus’ Ministry of Transport and Communications has taken part in the Meeting of the Directors General of Civil Aviation of the ICAO
EUR/NAT Regions, the ministry’s press service told BelTA.
The meeting was held in Castellaneta, Italy. The Belarusian delegation was led by Aleksandr Apet, Deputy Director of the Aviation Division.
Discussions focused on regional and international cooperation, the exchange of best practices, the expansion of air routes, and the sustainable development of the civil aviation sector.
The Belarusian aviation authorities also held talks with International Civil Aviation Organization Secretary General Juan Carlos Salazar and Regional Director of the ICAO European and North Atlantic Office Nicolas Rallo.
The two sides addressed pressing cooperation issues, with Belarus laying out its position on challenges facing the country’s aviation industry under current conditions.
