Martyr Al-Hafiz, June 7, 2026 (SPS) – Today evening, the Personal Envoy of the Secretary-General of the United Nations to Western Sahara, Mr. Staffan de Mistura, arrived at the Sahrawi refugee camps as part of his tour in the region.
Upon his arrival at Tindouf Airport, he was received by Dr. Sidi Mohamed Ammar, the Front’s representative to the United Nations and coordinator with the MINURSO mission, and Mr. Blahi El-Sayed, the National Director of Ceremonies.
On the Algerian side, Mr. Dahou Mustafa, Governor of Tindouf Province, and elements of the United Nations Mission for the Referendum in Western Sahara (MINURSO).
