The non-election of the new president has opened the way for early elections in Kosovo within 45 days, while former president Vjosa Osmani has reacted with a message to citizens and political parties.
Through a video shared on social networks, Osmani described the situation as a difficult moment for the country, but emphasized that the citizens of Kosovo have always shown strength to face challenges.
“Last night was a difficult night for Kosovo, but this people knew how to get up from much more difficult moments. The time has come for love. Enough with propaganda, division and instilling fear,” she said.
Osmani added that the roads that are closed by injustices are opened by the will of the citizens, calling for more unity and hope on the eve of the elections.
“Where there is hatred, we must bring love, where there is fear, we must bring hope. Where there is propaganda and slander, we must defend the truth,” emphasized the former president.
