The name of the man who died in a parachute jump outside Óðinvé in Denmark last Sunday was Tristan Magni Hauksson. He was 24 years old when he died.
Tristan was from Selfoss, but moved to Denmark shortly before the end of last year to study at the public university in Fjón.
The accident was reported shortly before noon on Sunday Danish time.
Police in Denmark are still investigating the case.
