A member of the negotiating team also emphasized in an interview with Sedavasima that the most important issue is the implementation of the thirteenth clause of the memorandum of understanding, which means the necessary preparations for talks about clauses such as the termination of the war on all fronts, lifting of the naval blockade, opening of the Strait of Hormuz, exemption from sanctions on oil and derivatives, and the release of blocked Iranian assets. Regarding the first paragraph, which is the most important issue, there was a discussion about Lebanon, and if the end of the war in Lebanon is not done, the next issues will definitely not be discussed.

Lindsey Graham claimed that if Iran does not agree, America will take control of the Strait of Hormuz.

He noted: The head of the Iranian negotiating team and the negotiating team opposed these ceremonies and announced that they will not be present at the photo ceremony with the American delegation.

    17:33

Spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar: Special technical teams have been formed to negotiate the provisions of the final agreement.

    17:07

    13:49

The director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency met with the foreign minister of the country before the start of the four-way talks between Iran and the United States in Switzerland and emphasized the importance of the success of diplomacy at this critical juncture.

    13:25

Ismail Baqaei, the spokesman of Iran’s negotiating team, announced: Iran is determined to follow up the implementation of the commitments of the other party with obsession and seriousness.

Today’s meeting is to follow up the implementation of the memorandum of understanding to end the war. According to paragraph 13 of the memorandum of understanding, the start of final agreement negotiations depends on the implementation of paragraphs 1, 4, 5, 10 and 11. Without the implementation of these provisions, especially paragraph 1 (end of war on all fronts including Lebanon), it is not possible to enter the negotiation stage for a final agreement.
Today’s talks are focused on the implementation of the aforementioned clauses, especially clause 1, as well as the review of the measures foreseen for the implementation of clauses 10 (the issue of Iran’s oil exports) and 11 (the release of Iran’s blocked assets).

    13:22

The American negotiating team headed by Vance met with Pakistan Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif today during the four-way talks between Iran and the United States with the participation of mediating countries.

    13:15

The Axios news site claimed in a report that the US government hopes that Iran will agree to UN inspectors’ access to its nuclear facilities. In exchange, Washington is ready to allow Tehran access to some of its blocked assets.

    12:51

Mohammad Reza Aref, the first vice president, said: We are entering a new space, a space where sanctions will no longer apply to any Arab region, and it is not an issue at all because we had strong tools that we did not use stronger than them and we are using them now.

    12:43

An informed source close to the negotiating team denied the news published by Al Jazeera about the re-signing of the agreement and stated that, contrary to some claims made in foreign media, no re-signing agreement is on the agenda.

    12:35
