Isn’t it time for one of the world’s most important commercial highways to become a real source of income for Iran?
According to the report of Economy Online, while one of the most sensitive transit routes in the world has been used for years without a clear economic mechanism and with minimal financial exploitation, now the discussion of how to use this strategic capacity has been raised more seriously than ever.
Mohammadreza Aref, the first vice president, has emphasized that part of this situation in the past was the result of a kind of neglect and a cultural view based on generosity, which caused Iran to not fully benefit from the economic benefits of this important crossing.
In this video, Aref has mentioned Iran’s reason for receiving traffic fees through the Strait of Hormuz.
