The head of Poland’s intelligence agency (AW), Pawel Shota, suggested that Russia could use the so-called “green men” to stage provocations in the Baltic states to test NATO’s reaction.

Details: The head of Polish intelligence noted that the immediate military threat to Poland comes from Russia. In his opinion, Moscow perceives Poland and the countries of the eastern flank of NATO as an obstacle to the realization of its imperial goals.
Shota added that Polish intelligence is currently taking into account scenarios of provocations by Russia against the Baltic states, in particular actions involving the so-called “little green men”, that is, Russian soldiers without identification marks.
He emphasized that the war against Ukraine was a huge humiliation for the Russian ruler Vladimir Putin, therefore “we are dealing with unpredictability from the Russian side.”
