Today, Thursday, the Governor of Ajloun, Nayef Al-Hidayat, sponsored the national ceremony organized by the Ajloun Youth Directorate in the courtyard of Camp Hussein on the occasion of the 80th Independence Day of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, in the presence of MP Abdel Halim Anabah and a number of directors, in the presence of a number of officials and official events.
Ajloun Youth Director, Dr. Issa Al-Tawalbeh, said that the best way to celebrate independence is to build on what our fathers and grandfathers have accomplished, achieve more achievements, and continue with a clear vision toward a strong, immune, and prosperous Jordan, whose children and grandchildren will enjoy freedom, security, and a decent life.
He added that Jordanian youth continue to be present at the forefront of the national scene as one of the most prominent pillars of the paths of political, economic and social modernization implemented by the state, pointing out that the youth sector receives continuous attention from the Hashemite leadership, which is reflected in the development of legislation, infrastructure and national programs aimed at expanding their participation in public life and empowering them in various fields.
He pointed out that Jordan has tended over the past years to enhance the presence of youth in the decision-making process by launching national strategies for youth, expanding political and economic empowerment programs, and developing youth centers and sports facilities in various governorates.
He stated that the youth sector represents one of the most prominent pillars of the Jordanian national project since the founding of the state, and that the Hashemite leadership has paid great attention to youth as they are the foundation of building the state and its future, stressing that Jordan has moved during the reign of His Majesty King Abdullah II from the concept of caring for youth to investing in their capabilities and energies through various development programs and initiatives.
The ceremony included various patriotic events, including poetry poems, artistic and scouting performances, and singing performances that expressed pride in the homeland and its Hashemite leadership. A number of media representatives in Ajloun Governorate were also honored in appreciation of their role in conveying the national message and serving society.
