The Goethe-Institut in cooperation with the EUNIC cluster Bosnia and Herzegovina announces a public call for participation in the ReWeave Masterclass – an international workshop on sustainable fashion, creative design and social inclusion, which will be held from June 12 to 14 at the Goethe-Institut in Sarajevo.
The international cultural project ReWeave – Slow Fashion for Shared Futures promotes sustainability, creativity and social inclusion through fashion. In response to the environmental and social challenges brought by fast fashion, the project combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary, environmentally friendly design. Through intercultural and intergenerational cooperation, communities in Bosnia and Herzegovina are strengthened, responsible consumer behavior is encouraged, and innovative approaches to clothing and design are developed.
ReWeave Masterclass will bring together European and Bosnian sustainable fashion experts from June 12 to 14. Participants, including designers, lecturers, students and representatives of local communities, acquire theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of circular design, ethical production, repair, upcycling and ecological entrepreneurship. This manifestation acts as a catalyst for the long-term transfer of knowledge: after this masterclass, the local partner Sugar on Top / Stribor Wear, together with individual participants, will transfer the contents through workshops in four Bosnian cities. The end of the project is planned for November 2026 and includes a public exhibition of the products and a fashion show.
Participant profile
• students of secondary vocational schools and universities (fashion, design, textiles)
• teachers and educators

The number of places is limited, and participants will be selected based on motivation and relevance of their profiles for the workshops. Applications are open until June 10 via link.
For all participants, the organizers cover the costs of the representation (lunch and refreshments), and for participants outside of Sarajevo, travel and accommodation costs are covered.
