According to the report of Economy Online, citing Tasnim, at 11 am on Tuesday, June 26, an explosion occurred due to the leakage and accumulation of city gas on Shahid Rezaei Street (Qadghun) in Borujerd, causing damage to several buildings.
Nader Musivand, the head of the fire department and security services of Borujerd municipality, stated: After the announcement of the incident, the fire brigade was immediately dispatched to the place.
He stated that the explosion caused the destruction of many parts of a building and caused serious damage to three nearby buildings, and added: Firefighting teams have carried out rescue operations, securing and checking the condition of the damaged buildings.
Referring to the number of injured in this incident, the head of the fire department of Borujerd said: 6 people were injured in this incident and they were transferred to medical centers, and according to the initial reports, the condition of two of the injured was declared critical.
