An investigative file that talks about “smuggling of medical medications” and “Hiding financial income” has been registered in the Tirana court, with the defendant Dritan Gremi and the Law Society, “Gremi Wellness”. The criminal case with the name of the businessman of several aesthetic clinics and 11 businesses opened in Tirana and Elbasan, has been published as a defendant in the court sessions that the Tirana court has planned to judge on September 22, 2026.
We recall that in October 2025, Dritan Gremi appeared as an independent candidate to compete in the mayoral elections in Tirana, an election that was never held.
It is known that the file with 2 defendants is still in the stage of judicial examination in the preliminary session and the judge of the case has been appointed through the electronic lottery, Amarilda Sulaj.
According to the investigation file, the defendant Dritan Gremi and his company “Gremi Wellness” are suspected of having smuggled medical drugs, mainly “Butox” with the active principle “Botulinum toxin”.
This medicinal product is currently not authorized for marketing in Albania.
Meanwhile, medical devices that are placed on the market in the Republic of Albania must be registered in the National Registry of Medical Devices, a procedure maintained by the National Agency of Medicines and Medical Devices.
Uncertified medical equipment was found in the clinic and injections were performed by people who are not doctors but beauticians. This fact confirmed by some patients who were asked. Violations were found during a physical examination in the premises of “Gremi Clinic” which was carried out by the judicial police on July 17, 2025.
Also, according to the investigative file, in 2025, during a Tax Control report on this business, it was established that the Law Firm, “Gremi Wellness” has unpaid tax obligations and fines amounting to the financial amount of 285 million old ALL.
This company and its owners, cohabitants Dritan Gremi and Anduena Çela, since January 2021 have operated as a business with a commercial object initially for “…business consulting activities and other management advice…”.
But in November 2025, the object of the company changed by adding activity in the field of management of various structures in the field of health.
“…mainly aesthetic surgery clinics and other aesthetic treatments, taking over the total management of human resources and relations with patients (scheduling visit schedules, examination schedules, aesthetic and surgical treatments, promotions and following policies for expanding the number of patients, etc….” – it says in the object of commercial activity changed in November 2025.
But just a few days after Dritan Gremi changed the object of commercial activity to the company “Gremi Wellness”, on November 27, 2025, he decided to sell 100 percent of the shares of this company to his co-habitant, Anduena Çela.
The sales contract was signed before the notary Aida Hoxha in Tirana and the sale was made against a price of 1 million old lek.
But currently in the name of Dritan Gremi, there are still several other companies such as “Gremi Longevity Center”, “My Albania News”, “Gremi Sweet Bread”, “La Belle Noiseuse”, “Hotel Serenity”, “Gremi Clinic”, “Dritan Gremi”, “Viaggiare e Sorridere” and others.
